NAECP Mission Statement

To provide training, development, certification, and operating experience for those who aspire to be professionals in the management and execution of Employee Concerns Programs, providing employees an alternate, independent means of raising issues.

 

NAECP Vision Statement

To make the Energy Sector and other highly regulated industries safer, more efficient, and more transparent, through the fostering of open, honest communications across organizations and to facilitate workplaces free of harassment, intimidation, retaliation, and discrimination.

 

NAECP Overview

The NAECP is the premiere professional organization for those who provide Employee Concerns Program services in regulated industries.

Established in 1988, the organization has grown from a small group of US Nuclear Employee Concerns Program managers to an international organization whose membership is drawn from Employee Concerns Program Professionals, Attorneys, and Human Resource Professionals who work in the Energy sector: Nuclear Power, Oil & Gas, Pipeline,  and the US Department of Energy; but whose experiences are applicable to all organizations whose workforce has the legal protections and obligations to raise compliance, safety and other regulatory concerns.

The NAECP works collaboratively with regulatory bodies to support and improve the implementation of a Safety Conscious Work Environment (SCWE) and a positive Safety Culture, where employees are encouraged to raise concerns, without any fear of retaliation, and where those concerns are heard, prioritized, and resolved, with feedback to the concerned employee.
