NAECP Forum and Training Academy Registration and Cancellation Policy

Statement
NAECP Forum participants who attend the NAECP Forum or Training Classes sponsored by the NAECP Training Academy are expected to fully attend the NAECP Forum meetings and/or Academy Training Classes, as scheduled. Certificates documenting the attendance at the NAECP Forums and/or Academy Training Classes will only be provided to those participants who attend the NAECP Forum sessions and/or Academy Training Classes, as required by the training course providers.

Objective
NAECP Forum participants will demonstrate their commitment to fully attend the NAECP Forum meetings and/or Academy Training Classes by:
  • Registering for NAECP Forum meetings and/or Academy Training Classes.
  • Attending the NAECP Forum sessions and/or Academy Training Classes as specified in the Forum and Training agendas.
Implementation
If an NAECP Forum participant decides to cancel their registration to an NAECP Forum meeting and/or Academy Training Class, a minimum of two weeks notice prior to the start of the Forum meeting is required for the participant to receive a partial refund. All requests for cancellation should be received in writing. Exceptions, such as family or medical emergency issues, or important emergent work related issues will be considered on a case-by-case basis. The refund amount is determined by an average of the costs incurred to process a registration and the administration of the event logistics. An average of $75 will be held by NAECP for all canceled registrations regardless of circumstance. If issues such as a family or medical emergency, or an important emergent work assignment arises which results in a cancellation after the two week notice requirement, the person must submit a request in writing (e-mail is sufficient) to the NAECP Forum Registrar. The request should include the details on the reason why the cancellation was requested after the two week notice requirement. Details on medical conditions or personal family matters are not required in the request. The request will be reviewed by the NAECP Board and upon approval a partial refund will be issued to the registrant.
